As effective as in-office whitening treatment is, few people have the time to schedule appointments for cosmetic maintenance. In order to maintain a bright smile, you can use take-home teeth bleaching.
Roy Hart, DDS gives our patients Opalescence® brand teeth-bleaching products for maintaining a brighter smile at home. When this product is first supplied to you, Dr. Hart uses an impression of your smile to customize the fit of the application trays. At home, you place the bleaching gel in the trays and wear them for a period of time dependent upon the gel being used. This system helps you keep your smile bright in between dental appointments.
Alternatively, some patients request a take-home only approach to teeth bleaching. Although not recommended because the results are not as bright as in-office treatment, at-home treatments with Opalescence alone can still improve your smile’s coloration with long-lasting results.
